Personal data
I collect and process personal data for various purposes, namely providing customer service, improving my services and carrying out marketing activities. To respect your privacy, I only use personal data when I have received explicit permission to do so. The personal data that I may collect include your name, email address and telephone number, and is collected through the contact form on the Prices/Quote, Support and Contact pages. I will only use this personal data for the purposes for which it was collected and will not share it with third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of my services or required by law.
Data protection
I take the protection of personal data seriously and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data, including the use of secure servers and encryption of data. I do not store personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and will delete them when they are no longer needed.
It is important to know that no system is 100% secure, so although I do my utmost to protect your data, I cannot provide absolute guarantees. If something does go wrong with your data despite my efforts, I will inform you immediately and work with you to find a solution.
Rights
As a visitor of this website, you have rights with regards to your personal data. Terms and conditions

Welcome to my General Terms and Conditions. I'm glad you're here and hope that our cooperation will run smoothly. That's what this document is for, to protect our interests.
Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, quotations and agreements between me as a freelancer, Silvan | Digital Studio, located in Rotterdam, hereinafter referred to as "the freelancer" and you, the client.
Offers and quotations
My offers and quotations are non-binding, unless we agree otherwise. I reserve the right to modify or withdraw my offers and quotations.
Agreement
An agreement between us is concluded after you have accepted my quotation and made a down payment of 50%. No work will be performed without a down payment.
Delivery
I will ensure timely delivery of the design and construction of the website, within the term stated in the quotation. If you want to make changes to the design, this may cause a delay in delivery."
Payment
Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed. I require a 50% deposit before starting the design and construction of the website, and the remaining 50% upon delivery of the website.
Retention of title
The ownership of the design and website passes to the client after all obligations under the agreement have been fulfilled and the client has paid the total invoice amount. Until that time, the freelancer retains ownership.
Liability
I am only liable for direct damage and only to the extent that this damage is caused by a failure to comply with the agreement that can be attributed to me.
Disputes
Dutch law applies to all agreements between us. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Use of the website
You are responsible for the proper use of the website and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations. The freelancer is not liable for any damage or loss caused by improper use of the website.
Changes
The freelancer reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions. Changes will be published on this page.
Intellectual property rights
The freelancer grants the client a non-exclusive license to use the design and website for the duration of the agreement. The freelancer retains the intellectual property rights to the design and website, including but not limited to copyrights, trademark rights, and domain name rights.
Termination
Both parties have the right to terminate the agreement if the other party fails to fulfill any obligation under the agreement.
Privacy
I take the privacy of your data seriously and will store and process it in a secure manner in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You agree that I may use your data for the purpose of performing the agreement and for sending relevant information about my services.
Warranty
I guarantee that the website complies with the specifications agreed upon in the quote and that the website is free from material errors and technical issues. If, by any chance, something is not in order, I will fix it within a reasonable timeframe.
